OUR PASSION
It's our intention to create fresh and new photography over a wide range of available project mediums from high quality, digital image productions to tangible, soulful analogue shootings on medium and large format film. While holding onto a timeless and classy aesthetic, our team is always interested in telling stories on a highest level of quality and expression. With lot of passion, a pocket full of films, a flashlight in the backpack and the camera firmly in our handy, we create stunning advertisement campaigns, magazine covers and awesome imagery for our clients - And because of our deep affection to our work, we do all kind of postproduction by ourselves!
IMAGE RETOUCHING
Image retouching, composing and restoration of photographic media, digital and analogue, are among our central tasks. We work exclusively with professional image editing programs and retouching software. Our professional team works with frequency separation, bandstop and dodge & burn, to correct defects imperceptibly, work out specific product- and material properties and create complex and impressive composings. Our main focus is on perfecting human skin, especially in the sector of beauty- and fashion photography.
SKIN RETOUCHING // Professional skin retouching is used in all photographic areas. We take care to ensure that skin retouching is used to perfect individual skin areas without changing the overall visual impression. Naturalness before perfection! Small blemishes will be removed in an elaborate and detailed way, skin tones and color values will be corrected and an smooth complexion is created without losing the naturalness of structures such as pores.
PRODUCT EDITING // Of course, all product-, advertising- and webshop photographs will be corrected and retouched with the same precision as skin and beauty retouching. While skin surface will be corrected to a smoother look, the focus is on working out the details and textures which characterize a product. Shadows and incorrect reflections of surrounding colors will be eliminated and products will be unbound from the background and consequently placed in the focus of the viewer by setting highlights and finely used dodge & burn technics.
CUT OUTS & HOLLOW MAN // Cut outs are essential for Webshops: Imagery of products for Web- and onlineshopping galleries should have been already taken perfectly and product-specific in the photographic process before getting over to postproduction. Small products like bottles, multimedia, jewelery and food will be shot on a tabletop lighting setup on white or fifty procent grey backdrop. Shots of clothes and textiles will be taken in the studio on specially created dolls, which will be removed later to give the viewers an impression of an invisible person (hollow man). With digital paths and masking, products wil be cutted out in detail and in the highest quality, so that the cut out data can be placed on any background. To create an optical depth, most products used to get a digital shadow and reflection.
